THE GREAT GAME OF BUSINESS

"Reduce Your Healthcare Costs"

Guest Speakers: Tom Beattie & Karen Babb - Beattie & Associates

If you have employees and your company pays any portion of their health insurance expenses, this month's seminar is a must!

Health insurance costs continue to skyrocket, yet most businesses roll over and play dead - watching expenses climb and profits fall. Or they pass the costs along to employees, contributing to high turnover and low morale.

There is a better way! Get control of your expenses without reducing benefits or cutting headcount.

This is absolutely NOT a sales pitch for health insurance! HRAs and the other tools you'll learn about are critical strategies for businesses - especially in these tough economic conditions.

We'll walk you through the details of HRAs including how & why they work, tax treatment, implementation and some real-life case studies with "before" and "after" costs!

  • Learn about HRA accounts, and why these can save you thousands per year (Already have an HRA? You’ll still learn innovative ways to maximize your savings)
  • Improve employee benefits while reducing costs
  • Use your benefits plan to teach business literacy to your employees
  • Use a "high involvement planning" approach to making benefits decisions
  • A unique approach to planning your company's overall compensation expenses that will reduce headaches and costs

Tom has been at Beattie and Associates for 21 years, designing and implementing benefit plans for employers both large and small.  Prior to coming to Beattie & Associates, he was an Actuarial Analyst for a national benefits consulting firm. Tom graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in Applied Mathematics.

Karen has been at Beattie & Associates for 6 years, working on creative healthcare solutions for employers and individuals. Prior to coming to Beattie & Associates, she worked at United Healthcare for 16 years. She has degrees in Computer Science and Accounting.
